When I served in the Middle East in 1990/1991 during the First Persian Gulf War, a Muslim man offered an officer in my unit $30K for another female soldier in my unit. I have n9 clue if he was looking for another wife or a slave. Such offers were common then. No one is mentioning the male/male pederasty that is endemic to Muslim society as well. It was so sad to be over there & see not only the women traveling in large groups for safety-with a 14 year old boy proudly marching 10-20 feet ahead-but to see groups of young boys happily playing, right up until the eyes of a Muslim man would start watching them. The play hesitated, the boys stiffened up, eyes darting immediately to that man and before you knew it, the boys would disperse and melt away into the scenery. I and my fellow female soldiers were treated as and outright called "Western whores", regardless of the convenient legal framework that decreed that we were to be considered as legally male for the duration of our service there. When I got a look at the Western media that was sent or imported for their consumption, it became a lot clearer, although their original preferences were what drove their initial and continuing choices, given their ideology concerning non-Muslim women. What wasn't outright porn or soft porn might as well have been, with ratings that barely met the metrics for "R"(Restricted). Muslim women looked on disdainfully as their men hassled us, as if it were OUR fault, even though our uniform sleeves were fully down and our heads covered. Where in the West, I was often mistaken as male due to a small bust and hips and short hair, the Muslim men were never fooled. They picked us out of crowds like hunting dogs with a scent. If a male and female soldier were driving a long distance together and pulled over for a short break on the side of the road, within minutes a Muslim man was somehow pulled over next to them in the middle of nowhere, asking questions. One of the saddest things I saw over there culturally was a fair that had come to town. Countless men, NO women, took their young children there, riding all the rides, smiling and laughing together. There were plenty of little girls there, none older than 10 though. All the other kids-about twice as many of all ages-were young boys. My heart broke, thinking of all the little girls who'd "become women", cut off forever from having fun with their fathers and brother due to simple biology. There was a horrible double standard as far as dress was concerned too. Imagine heat at about 110°F-130°F and seeing all the women dressed head to toe in what amounted to stifling black tents, complete with head covering, veil and as if that weren't enough, screens over their eyes to prevent lustful gazes and eye contact. Of course it's always the woman's fault if an attraction does occur, one-sided or not. Meanwhile, and though from what we understood, it was actually and literally against the law for either sex to expose their arms or legs, we still saw MANY men routinely in short sleeves, as if it meant nothing, so long as you were male. Because as male, your behavior was always above reproach and subject only to self-analysis. Nice deflection. Funny, although a woman isn't allowed to technically view a male body that isn't her husband's or child's, when the "flaunting" does go the other way, it's STILL the woman's fault for any attraction. If a Muslim man came into out compound and caught us with our sleeves rolled up, were berated. Funny, but isn't one of their precepts that when confronted with a woman who isn't "properly covered", a good Muslim man is to AVERT HIS EYES?! That verse happens to come before the instructions on womens' dress on top of it, if I remember correctly! They actually pick and choose which precepts to actively follow and or simply use them to justify doung what's already in their hearts, if you ask me. They're every bit as hypocritical as the Westerners they profess and are taught to abhor, in my opinion! Please don't get me started on bathroom habits. We're the "filthy animals", according to their teachings, yet we were warned not to touch their left hands or offer our own. It's considerred deeply offensive in their culture. That's because when they defecate, they use that hand to "clean" themselves! To offer a Muslim something with that hand is a serious insult and disrespect. I always figured that the prohibition against left hands was largely symbolic with the advent of toilet paper. Not a chance, to my absolute horror! We were walking in the city in a group one day, on R & R and I had to use the restroom. We entered an office building and of course the men with me had to negotiate for my use of the building's facilities. I was finally given permission and entered their only restroom. I wasn't paying much attention when I first went in to tell you the truth, to what was in front of me between the door and the stall itself. When I opened the stall door to enter however, I stopped dead in my tracks and my gorge immediately rose. Hanging next to the toilet was a pristine, full roll of toilet paper. On the walls, the toilet itself and the flushing mechanism handle was what looked like a Jackson Polluck composition done entirely in feces! I can still see it in my mind. It was actually smeared everywhere, just wiped wherever there had been a previously (I hope!) clean spot! The immediate wall around the toilet tissue and the roll itself was paradoxically entirely untouched in an obvious pattern of deliberate avoidance. Almost like they were deliberately giving the metaphorical "finger" to Western sensibilities. It was surreal. Let's just say I was happy to have strong enough leg muscles to avoid sitting on the seat. I turned into a helicopter and just hovered. When it came time to clean myself, I gingerly pinched the end of the tissue roll between my forefinger and thumb, unrolled a good few feet of it and then unrolled some for my own use. My foot flushed the toilet and some excess tissue was then used to turn on the faucet at the sink, since that was part of the "masterpiece" too. The sad thing is that in a modern Muslim country, it's not the citizens who do the cleaning and other menial chores. Where I was, it was done exclusively by foreign nationals, mostly Phillipino and Thai make workers. Imagine being the poor individual whose job it was to have to clean that office building and its bathroom daily! It should've had to be done with a pressure washer and in a HAZMAT suit! I fully knew that the men in the office would be looking for a reaction from me. I kept my face perfectly blank as I calmly walked out, thanked them and left the building. Their faces were every bit as carefully neutral, with only a hint of disappointment. Talk about being passive-aggressive and having nothing but contempt for your workforce; those "beneath them", I guess. My dad's lesson that, "S**t rolls downhill." was vividly illustrated for me in multiple and in the most visceral (Why not? It fits!) ways. The talmud consists of passages of torah surrounded by arguments as to the meaning. It is a constant argument with different opinions. As such, it cannot be dogma, as scholars often have contradictory opinions. It is written in Hebrew and Aramaic, and not accessible to most Jews nor required for practice. I don't understand how people can think or say that Islam is a religion of peace and that Muslims are peaceful also. That's an definite pro-Islam account of things. As far as I can tell, the Middle East flourished in the 9th-10th centuries because the Muslems were invading Europe and, because all of the fighting was in Europe and not the Middle East, the Muslems were free to engage in commerce and build economic wealth. Of course a good part of that wealth came from pillaging the treasure and goods from the European lands that they conquered. That wealth, in significant part acquired from the wars, allowed some of the wealthy individuals in the Middle East to indulge in translating Greek works and making some engineering, medical, and scientific advances. The problem was that the Muslems didn't actually use much of the knowledge they acquired to propell their civilization forward. Based on what I read, there were no established bodies or entities that would spread the knowledge and information to the masses to improve their civilization. They didn't build schools to teach their children or even major universities. They didn't pass down that knowledge so that subsequent generations could improve their lives.
It seems to me that this "Golden Age" of the Middle East is more like a mirage or chimera than a real intellectual Golden Age. I can agree there was an economic boom during that time in the Middle East and that it improved the standard of living of the people in the area. And the translation of the Greeks is a real benefit to the world, but I believe its reasonable to believe that some other civilization would have done it if the Muslems had not. Nevertheless, without any real system for dissemination and implementation of the scientific and intellectual discoveries at even a moderate scale, whatever good was discovered, it became virtually meaningless.
Moreover, the reason that the Golden Age ended was because of the ascendency of Islam, not in spite of it. Islam is a cult. It is based on the teachings of Mohammed, whose prophesies basically provided him justifications to conduct his life in the manner he saw fit. Mohammed was definitely a vicious, violent war lord and his teachings embody that. So when he wanted to marry a 9 year old girl, he just made up a prophesy to justify it. For the people who do not believe in the profit Mohammed, they should be killed, enslaved, or indentured because the prophesy said so. Innately, the Koran does not set up a framework by which people can live good lives caring for others, being up-standing citizens, and productive members of society. It sets up a system of discrimination between believers and non-believers, with the non-believers suffering and the weak -- the women and children -- prey for the men. That, by definition, is a cult.
Finally, the fact that peaceful Muslems exist who live quiet lives and make positive and/or no negative contributions to society is irrelevant to any discussion about Islam. Very few Muslems speak out and condemn the practice of jihad or defend the right of Israel to exist. Until or unless Islam completely rejects the tenents of jihad -- as well as Sharia law -- Muslems will never really fit in Western civilization. When I served in the Middle East in 1990/1991 during the First Persian Gulf War, a Muslim man offered an officer in my unit $30K for another female soldier in my unit. It was so sad to be over there & see not only the women traveling in large groups for safety-with a 14 year old boy proudly marching 10-20 feet ahead-but to see groups of young boys happily playing, right up until the eyes of a Muslim man would start watching them. The play hesitated, the boys stiffened up, eyes darting immediately to that man and before you knew it, the boys would disperse and melt away into the scenery. I and my fellow female soldiers were treated as and outright called "Western whores", regardless of the convenient legal framework that decreed that we were to be considered as legally male for the duration of our service there. When I got a look at the Western media that was sent or imported for their consumption, it became a lot clearer, although their original preferences were what drove their initial and continuing choices, given their ideology concerning non-Muslim women. What wasn't outright porn or soft porn might as well have been, with ratings that barely met the metrics for "R"(Restricted). Muslim women looked on disdainfully as their men hassled us, as if it were OUR fault, even though our uniform sleeves were fully down and our heads covered. Where in the West, I was often mistaken as male due to a small bust and hips and short hair, the Muslim men were never fooled. They picked us out of crowds like hunting dogs with a scent. If a male and female soldier were driving a long distance together and pulled over for a short break on the side of the road, within minutes a Muslim man was somehow pulled over next to them in the middle of nowhere, asking questions. One of the saddest things I saw over there culturally was a fair that had come to town. Countless men, NO women, took their young children there, riding all the rides, smiling and laughing together. There were plenty of little girls there, none older than 10 though. All the other kids-about twice as many of all ages-were young boys. My heart broke, thinking of all the little girls who'd "become women", cut off forever from having fun with their fathers and brother due to simple biology. There was a horrible double standard as far as dress was concerned too. Imagine heat at about 110°F-130°F and seeing all the women dressed head to toe in what amounted to stifling black tents, complete with head covering, veil and as if that weren't enough, screens over their eyes to prevent lustful gazes and eye contact. Of course it's always the woman's fault if an attraction does occur, one-sided or not. Meanwhile, and though from what we understood, it was actually and literally against the law for either sex to expose their arms or legs, we still saw MANY men routinely in short sleeves, as if it meant nothing, so long as you were male. Because as male, your behavior was always above reproach and subject only to self-analysis. Nice deflection. Funny, although a woman isn't allowed to technically view a male body that isn't her husband's or child's, when the "flaunting" does go the other way, it's STILL the woman's fault for any attraction. If a Muslim man came into out compound and caught us with our sleeves rolled up, were berated. Funny, but isn't one of their precepts that when confronted with a woman who isn't "properly covered", a good Muslim man is to AVERT HIS EYES?! That verse happens to come before the instructions on womens' dress on top of it, if I remember correctly! They actually pick and choose which precepts to actively follow and or simply use them to justify doung what's already in their hearts, if you ask me. They're every bit as hypocritical as the Westerners they profess and are taught to abhor, in my opinion! Please don't get me started on bathroom habits. We're the "filthy animals", according to their teachings, yet we were warned not to touch their left hands or offer our own. It's considerred deeply offensive in their culture. That's because when they defecate, they use that hand to "clean" themselves! To offer a Muslim something with that hand is a serious insult and disrespect. I always figured that the prohibition against left hands was largely symbolic with the advent of toilet paper. Not a chance, to my absolute horror! We were walking in the city in a group one day, on R & R and I had to use the restroom. We entered an office building and of course the men with me had to negotiate for my use of the building's facilities. I was finally given permission and entered their only restroom. I wasn't paying much attention when I first went in to tell you the truth, to what was in front of me between the door and the stall itself. When I opened the stall door to enter however, I stopped dead in my tracks and my gorge immediately rose. Hanging next to the toilet was a pristine, full roll of toilet paper. On the walls, the toilet itself and the flushing mechanism handle was what looked like a Jackson Polluck composition done entirely in feces! I can still see it in my mind. It was actually smeared everywhere, just wiped wherever there had been a previously (I hope!) clean spot! The immediate wall around the toilet tissue and the roll itself was paradoxically entirely untouched in an obvious pattern of deliberate avoidance. Almost like they were deliberately giving the metaphorical "finger" to Western sensibilities. It was surreal. Let's just say I was happy to have strong enough leg muscles to avoid sitting on the seat. I turned into a helicopter and just hovered. When it came time to clean myself, I gingerly pinched the end of the tissue roll between my forefinger and thumb, unrolled a good few feet of it and then unrolled some for my own use. My foot flushed the toilet and some excess tissue was then used to turn on the faucet at the sink, since that was part of the "masterpiece" too. The sad thing is that in a modern Muslim country, it's not the citizens who do the cleaning and other menial chores. Where I was, it was done exclusively by foreign nationals, mostly Phillipino and Thai make workers. Imagine being the poor individual whose job it was to have to clean that office building and its bathroom daily! It should've had to be done with a pressure washer and in a HAZMAT suit! I fully knew that the men in the office would be looking for a reaction from me. I kept my face perfectly blank as I calmly walked out, thanked them and left the building. Their faces were every bit as carefully neutral, with only a hint of disappointment. Talk about being passive-aggressive and having nothing but contempt for your workforce; those "beneath them", I guess. My dad's lesson that, "S**t rolls downhill." was vividly illustrated for me in multiple and in the most visceral (Why not? It fits!) ways. Islam - not just some of its adherents - is fundamentally evil. We must hope it will be ‘reformed’ but I have not read of any scholar or Imam advocating this.
This does not mean all Moslems are evil, but the religion is. Indeed Moslems suffer under it. This sounds harsh, but until we take on the battle of ideas we shall continue to lose.
How can it be reformed? How do you change a farm truck into a sports car?
You will have to change it beyond recognition. Into something completely different from what it was originally intended.
i think, at some point, there will be massacres of Muslim men in Europe. Perhaps some of the native Europeans may neuter them and put the removed parts where they can be seen. And let it be known European women are participating. If I understand rightly, don’t Muslim men believe they can never enter their paradise if they are 1) neutered and 2) maimed or killed by a woman? Just get the rumor going and most of Europe’s male Muslims will stampede for the exits and return to Muslim countries.
I don't understand how people can think or say that Islam is a religion of peace and that Muslims are peaceful also. Islam is not compatible with western values, it's as simple as that, and the truth is that the "peaceful" Muslims are the ones who don't say anything about the atrocities that other Muslims commit.
Islam was found to be incompatible with the early Republic by our founding fathers.

That's an definite pro-Islam account of things. As far as I can tell, the Middle East flourished in the 9th-10th centuries because the Muslems were invading Europe and, because all of the fighting was in Europe and not the Middle East, the Muslems were free to engage in commerce and build economic wealth. Of course a good part of that wealth came from pillaging the treasure and goods from the European lands that they conquered. That wealth, in significant part acquired from the wars, allowed some of the wealthy individuals in the Middle East to indulge in translating Greek works and making some engineering, medical, and scientific advances. The problem was that the Muslems didn't actually use much of the knowledge they acquired to propell their civilization forward. Based on what I read, there were no established bodies or entities that would spread the knowledge and information to the masses to improve their civilization. They didn't build schools to teach their children or even major universities. They didn't pass down that knowledge so that subsequent generations could improve their lives.
It seems to me that this "Golden Age" of the Middle East is more like a mirage or chimera than a real intellectual Golden Age. I can agree there was an economic boom during that time in the Middle East and that it improved the standard of living of the people in the area. And the translation of the Greeks is a real benefit to the world, but I believe its reasonable to believe that some other civilization would have done it if the Muslems had not. Nevertheless, without any real system for dissemination and implementation of the scientific and intellectual discoveries at even a moderate scale, whatever good was discovered, it became virtually meaningless.
Moreover, the reason that the Golden Age ended was because of the ascendency of Islam, not in spite of it. Islam is a cult. It is based on the teachings of Mohammed, whose prophesies basically provided him justifications to conduct his life in the manner he saw fit. Mohammed was definitely a vicious, violent war lord and his teachings embody that. So when he wanted to marry a 9 year old girl, he just made up a prophesy to justify it. For the people who do not believe in the profit Mohammed, they should be killed, enslaved, or indentured because the prophesy said so. Innately, the Koran does not set up a framework by which people can live good lives caring for others, being up-standing citizens, and productive members of society. It sets up a system of discrimination between believers and non-believers, with the non-believers suffering and the weak -- the women and children -- prey for the men. That, by definition, is a cult.
Finally, the fact that peaceful Muslems exist who live quiet lives and make positive and/or no negative contributions to society is irrelevant to any discussion about Islam. Very few Muslems speak out and condemn the practice of jihad or defend the right of Israel to exist. Until or unless Islam completely rejects the tenents of jihad -- as well as Sharia law -- Muslems will never really fit in Western civilization. They can never be trusted because they seek the destruction of the greatest society, the USA, because it is a free society. And that makes them fundamentally incompatible with us and our civilization.
The horrific rapes if being attacked suddenly by these brutal men is one part of the story. The grooming another part. It is this second part in which the parents, the churches, teachers and society need to stand up and defend the girls. The families need the backing of their religion to help them in helping the girls. This is a religious war. Without western religion, Christianity or Judaism, it is a walkover for Sharia. The girls have to be educated that these boys and men are bad for them. They have to be looked after and also have their morality and ethics intact. Relying on government and the law and the education system has failed. Even though I still argue that these institutions should be fighting for the safety of all girls and women. It is hard. The girls could befriend a Muslim girl at school and then be introduced to her brothers and cousins and there the journey continues….We have to teach the girls to be very wary, and put social protection practises in place, but these of course don’t always work. The schools need to be responsible as well im educating all young people on the evils. Sadly there are Muslim only schools which have nil intention of integrating in the west. They have been fully supported in their free and easy colonisation of the west. The west has been as stupid and as nieve as the indigenous cultures were. Tragic. Takeover cultures have traditionally raped ans enslaved the girls and women. Bear in mind though there are still western men raping and harming young girls and women. They don’t have the excuse of sharia law; they are usually broken and faithless and live life’s without hope or moral grounding. I pray for everyone.
