Freedom of religion must also mean freedom to question, challenge and reject religion. A belief that cannot withstand scrutiny cannot demand respect simply because it is sacred to someone else.
Islam doesn’t do minority faith well. Islamophobia is a word conjured to make the chattering classes go silent as the atrocities roll along. It gets played up to push for something the West thought it had done away with, blasphemy laws. They call it hate speech but what they are objecting to blasphemy. They will demand the right to defame Jews or Hindus, but they cannot be talked to or about in such a manner.
