And he said, “Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand.
“The wicked shall do wickedly…”
Matthew 24:6
“And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.”
“All these things must come to pass…”
Romans 15:4
“For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.”
“Death marks the end of human sovereignty. Napoleon once said of the hated English, "Britain loses every battle except the last." It sometimes seems, in His dealings with men, that God loses every battle. But He does not lose the last one.
In the end He sends the angel of death to put an end to an individual's puny sovereignty. From then on God's will is enforced in judgment forever.” (Phillips)
Fallen mankind does its worst, but God causes ‘…all things to work together for good, for those who love God and are the called, according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28
The rivers of human history will flow within the banks, and empty into the sea, of Biblical prophecy - regardless of what any person or group thinks or does to alter what is foretold.
That doesn’t mean we are to be passive, but rather that we are to be alert, understand the times, and align ourselves with what has been revealed in the Word of God regarding His Plans for the Ages - that we not be found lazy and neglectful. Or worse, that we not be acting in opposition to His revealed will and purposes, as so many professing Christians are today, in regard to the Church and Israel.
Hudaybiyyah isn’t just history, it's precedent – when leaders invoke it they signal intent that concessions are mere tactical pauses, not reconciliations. Western negotiators keep treating these pauses as permanent settlements, and that is a dangerous mismatch in understanding that turns every “truce” into a reset for the weaker party – never a resolution.
If the precedent is Hudaybiyyah, then the only safeguard is deterrence that makes breaking the truce costlier than keeping it. Anything less is just underwriting the next round of conflict.
I wonder how the sunni arab gulf states view this hudna? They know this religious history and tactical shifting while it appears that they were pushing this ceasefire/mou. It appears from here that the gulf states are going to provide the iranians with the billions in cash within the mou. The gulf arabs must stay in this neighborhood, so this appears to be a form of tribute IMHO (a different kind of Hormuz toll?).
This current mou/ceasefire looks more and more like the late 1980s ceasefire near the end of the Reagan era after the U.S. navy had to provide a strong whack on the mullah’s military.
It is infuriating watching Trump bumble into this mess when he had all the cards and all he had to do was wait.

They just don't get it
The politicians still claiming the two-state solution should be aware of this. Then, the might already be aware of it.
America ran out of missles, they had to stop attacking ITAN.
Fools.

Seems to me that everything you mentioned Trump should do (the backloading) is exactly what he did do
